An Aladins cave of gorgeous things. I adore this shop. Friendly staff. Like stepping back in time - lovely ambience.
Small but contemporary salon. Friendly owner who works alongside her staff. Can highly recommend Tracy - fantastic for cut and highlights (seriously good with colour) - she will do exactly what you ask for. Finally found what every girl hopes for - a stylist who understands my hair. She must have done my hair about 40 plus times now and I have never been anything other than thrilled with the results. In the past I have gone from salon to salon and never been totally happy with the results. Wouldn't let anyone else touch my hair now. Excellent client care - always try hard to accommodate me for appointments and are always welcoming. Can either talk to no-one and relax with glossy mags and filter coffee or find a friendly ear for all your woes! Reasonably priced considering quality of hairdressing. Only scored a 9 because salon on the small side. 10/10 for customer service and quality of hairdressing tho.
A really unusual restaurant. Interior is lovely. Relaxing and romantic ambience. Service attentive. Food is amazing. Not cheap but worth every penny. This is my special occasion restaurant (cannot afford to eat out at this standard regularly) - have been every year for the past 5 years and have never been disappointed.
Interesting building overlooking the river. Enormous inside - relaxing but has a great vibe. Seriously good food. Great wines available. Sunday lunch a must. Not cheap but good value for money. Always busy - especially Friday and Saturday nights when the 30 somethings congregate here for drinks.
A seriously good Yoga teacher. Caters for all levels and even in a large class tailors the movement to your capability. Teaches you about the subject/history of Yoga as well as the postures. Classes are very structured and flow. Great sense of humour so classes are fun as well as informative.
